Red eared sliders(terrapins) are omnivorous. They eat at least 50% plants such as water weed and broadleaved garden weeds and the rest should be items such as worms (not from the garden as they may carry parasites),beef mince, and high protein fish/reptile food. Some cooked meat such as chicken etc. can be fed but in small amounts.
